With over 24 years of extensive experience, Samuel Opoku Asiamah is an accomplished finance and operations executive whose career spans financial modeling, marketing, operations, auditing, accounting, and banking. In his current role as Group Finance Manager at Kingdom Exim Group, Samuel leads the company’s financial strategies and operational alignment, playing a crucial role in ensuring the Group’s profitability and sustainable growth. His commitment to operational excellence, combined with his deep expertise, positions him as a key driver of the Group’s mission to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions across global markets.
Samuel’s background includes notable leadership roles, including Head of Audit and Compliance at Imperial General Assurance, Cluster Control Manager at UBA Ghana Ltd, and Compliance Head and AML Reporting Officer at UT Bank. He has extensive experience in risk and control assessment, financial strategy, relationship management, and regulatory compliance.
Samuel is a certified Anti-Money Laundering (AML) professional and a member of the Association of Certified Compliance Professionals in Africa (ACCPA). He is a chartered accountant, chartered banker, and chartered insurer, holding memberships in the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. Samuel holds an MBA in Finance, a BSc. in Administration (Accounting), and a postgraduate certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He has also undertaken extensive local and international training, further enhancing his expertise.
