Rev Edwin Langmer is a distinguished leader with a robust background in leadership, organizational development, and financial compliance. As the Board Chairman of Kingdom Exim Group, Rev Langmer provides strategic oversight, ensuring that the company remains committed to its mission of innovation, integrity, and service. His leadership is instrumental in guiding the Group’s expansion into new markets and sectors, bringing invaluable insights and expertise in governance and risk management.

Rev Langmer’s extensive experience in reviewing control systems and processes has been pivotal to his role. His career spans key positions in auditing, compliance, and internal controls within major financial institutions. Prior to joining Kingdom Exim, he served as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG, Ghana, before moving to Societe Generale Ghana as an Inspector. His expertise further expanded at Access Bank Ghana, where he was the Head of Compliance and Internal Control, and later as the Deputy Head of Compliance and Internal Control at UT Bank.

His contributions to the industry are extensive, with participation in both local and international conferences as a resource person and speaker on critical issues such as Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Financial Crimes. Rev Langmer is deeply involved in shaping compliance frameworks and has attended numerous specialized courses on Risk Management, Auditing, Fraud Prevention, and Financial Crimes.

He holds prestigious certifications, including being a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and the first individual in Ghana certified by the Association of Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) in Miami, Florida. Rev Langmer is also a member of the Institute of Internal Control and an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast, and he currently serves as an examiner for the International Compliance Association in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime.
